Who is coaching for
Coaching is here for creatives, artists, and professionals who want to move forward.
Maybe you have too many ideas, finding it hard to sort out a noise, and not sure about priorities. Or you have no idea at all and feel stuck without a clear path forward.
Maybe you're a writer, musician, or artist with a project that keeps stalling. Maybe you simply have too many possibilities and can't decide which one deserves your energy.
Without the right thinking space, the ideas keep swirling. Time passes. Clarity doesn't arrive on its own.
Your guide
I’m Flad, an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) affiliated coach based in Edinburgh, offering coaching as a volunteering activity for folks in Scotland and beyond.
I work with people who are figuring out where to go next. My coaching is supportive and solution‑oriented.
I ask the questions that help you hear your own answers, and help you turn scattered thoughts into clear next steps.
I coach pro bono in my free time because I believe everyone deserves a support, not just those who can afford it.

What others have said
I felt safe, and coach helped me discover what I was worried about.
Having this space to reflect I unearthed a plan that I had with my fellow musician, 40 years ago.
[…]
It all came together in that this was the perfect time to execute my plan.
The coach’s questions about what I wanted to achieve and the kind of support I needed encouraged me to reflect deeply on my objectives.
I also appreciated the flexibility offered in scheduling sessions, allowing me to arrange them as needed, which suited my circumstances well.
What will change
You probably just need a calm space to think out loud and someone asking the right questions.
By the end of a session, most people leave not with a grand plan, but with simple, achievable next steps. Sometimes those will be particular actions. Sometimes food for thought to sit with. And sometimes things will feel a little confusing, and you'll need time to process what came up.
I can't tell you what the output will be. But whatever it is, it will be fully yours and not someone else's.
